This is actually a very Alliance-looking set (probably because it is Alliance Only). It looks wonderful and has a very “high class” feel to it, which I always enjoy. It’s also hunter only set, due to the tier pieces used.
So. I love this leather set. I love it so much, and it PISSES ME OFF. Because the chest is Alliance Only, and it’s not something you can grab and transfer – it switches as well. (Not to mention the other Alliance Only pieces.) @$%@$%@$%@$%@$@#$
Screw you, Blizzard.
(Even though this set is Alliance Only, it’s on my Blood Elf because it’s freaking pretty and I don’t like the new human models much.)
Wrapping up the Dress Collection involves the Robes of the Triumvirate. That’s not to say that more tweaks won’t be added as new expansions come out, though. These transmogs can all be done with either the Robes of the Triumvirate OR the Robes of Insight, as they share the same skin. Also, multiple weapon options will be posted. As usual, these sets can be worn by all cloth wearers.
This was one of my first warlock transmogs that I made, and in spite of its simplicity (or perhaps because of it) – I still find it really beautiful in a dark, gothic kind of way. It’s a basic cloth set that can be used by mages and priests as well. (I also wonder how it would look with darker hair – maybe I’ll play with it next time I equip this set.) The staff is Alliance only – though if you do faction transfer to Horde (like me), you do stll get to keep it.
It’s also worth mentioning that this particular staff is one of the most beautiful in game (IMO). Admittedly, I have a thing for roses and I think the way the stems are interwoven through a skull is amazing – but the falling rose petals work well too. There is a red version of the staff that is Worgen only, and also a yellow version made via Inscription. The red staff does go quite nicely with this set, if you’re a Worgen.
This is a great set that I have a lot of trouble coming up with a catchy name and description for! It’s pink, it’s brown, it’s got chains, it’s black, and it’s chrome…
And that’s that!
This set can be used by all plate wearers, but – BUT! The belt is one you receive from the Timeless Isle. In order to get this particular model, you must have your loot set to be ret paladin, arms or fury warrior, and a frost or unholy death knight (you can switch it right back after looting the belt).
The weapon, however – the sword is Alliance only AND warrior only. That said, there are plenty of similar models that would work very well.
This warrior transmog has a couple of different options with it that I like. I found such pretty gold shoulders I wanted to use, so did some tweaking with this transmog – but then I found that using blue-based shoulders made the whole transmog feel different, and I liked that as well.
* This set began as a DK-only set, so the invisible Acherus Knight’s Girdle is pictured. For everyone else, a great belt for this set is the Triad Girdle. Perfect color match and not too bulky. The Triad Girdle is available to all plate wearers.
Level Required: 90
Chilled Shoulderplates (Quest reward from Stop the Plague in Borean Tundra [Horde Only]) (Quest reward from There’s Something Going On In Those Caves in Borean Tundra [Alliance Only])
Acherus Knight’s Girdle (Purchased from Quartermaster Ozorg in Eastern Plaguelands [Death Knight only]). An alternative belt is the Triad Girdle (Drops in the Temple of Ahn’Qiraj, from Lord Kri, Vem, and Princess Yauj )
I farmed for this staff before I had a transmog to go with it. I’d still like a darker red and black transmog to go with it – maybe I’ll focus on that after I get some leather/mail/plate transmogs up on here! In the interim, I did manage to put together an outfit with it that I kind of like! It’s a bit mage-y, but the staff adds a darker twist and makes it fit a warlock as well – the glow off the shoulders is nice too!
